Join Research

Join Research means becoming actively part of the research process and generating new knowledge together with scientists. Curiosity sparks questions, careful observation turns into data, and collaborative research can lead to new insights. In our Citizen Science activities, participants can observe, collect data, document species, contribute their own questions and actively engage in research processes. Monitoring activities around the Konrad Lorenz Research Center also provide opportunities to explore nature together and observe changes over time. 

Both sides benefit: citizens contribute their observations, experiences and perspectives, while research gains new data and approaches. Citizen Science creates connections between science and society – locally in the Almtal and as part of national and international networks.
