Explore Research means more than understanding scientific findings - it means encountering science, asking questions and discovering the world with curiosity. Our activities create opportunities to experience science in accessible and engaging ways, for children, young people, families and everyone interested in learning more about the world around us. We connect scientific knowledge with hands-on experiences, observations of nature and direct encounters with researchers. Participants are invited to ask questions, discover different perspectives and engage in dialogue. In this way, science becomes an experience that sparks curiosity, shares knowledge and inspires new questions. Our programmes – ranging from the Almtal Children’s University and Science Holidays, through ‘Naturschauspiel’, to the Almtal Biologicum, Junior Biologicum and ‘Science on Fridays’ – invite everybody to experience science in a variety of ways.
